Peter and John Harvey have over 30 years experience in the building and construction industry and have specialized in loft conversions over the past 15 years.  Peter, a qualified Architect, and John, a Structural Engineer, have between them designed and patented unique structural systems that make 80% of loft conversions simple and repeatable.

So repeatable that Gablespace Loft Conversions have formed a partnership with South Northamptonshire Local Council and are in the process of applying for type approval for their standard loft conversion systems.

What does this mean to a Franchisee? Well, it means that, for at least 80% of the loft conversions they take on, building regulation approval for the plans and calculations has already been obtained. There is no need to go through a submission and application process. All that is required is for the local council building inspector to confirm that the conversion has been completed according to the plans.

This greatly simplifies the entire process and makes our systems replicable and, most importantly for a Franchise, teachable. We can take anyone with the correct background and make them loft conversion experts in a matter of days!

• Received accolades for achievement and excellence in the field of sales, recruitment and management
• Personally trained over 2,500 sales people and sales managers throughout Europe
• Has provided franchising services to many companies of varying sizes from ‘one-man bands’ to British Telecom
• He is a specialist in the development of franchising strategies and the founder and co-owner of the Tan City chain of Franchises
• Appearances on TV and radio on business and franchising issues
• Married to Julie and has three children, Camilla, Joshua and Spencer

Clive’s role in the team is to help you…

• Succeed! Clive’s primary role is to contribute to the success of our all our franchisees. He’ll be working closely (‘hands on’) with you to make sure you have the right level of support to help you achieve the results we believe are possible.
• Get A Steady Stream Of Customers! Clive obviously won’t be doing the sales and marketing for you, but he will be continually developing, improving and testing all our existing marketing strategies, and adding others to them to keep your business flourishing.
• Improve ‘The System’! Clive will also be continually working with us to improve and streamline the franchise system so we get the best possible results from everything we and you do.

Background:

• Clive has a BSc in Electrical Engineering, an MBA and is a Manufacturing Management Graduate from Cranfield University.
• After a short period in Research and Development Clive moved into technical sales and marketing rising to Marketing Director level
• He has 10 years experience as Managing Director of a Telecommunications Company and as a business owner.

Other experience includes Operations Management, Project Management and Management Consulting specialising in strategy, planning and marketing.
